DO WHAT THOU WILT SHALL BE THE WHOLE OF THE LAW
The Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) is an
international religious body whose core philosophy is the principle of
Thelema (a Greek word for will), as espoused in Liber Al vel Legis, or
the Book of the Law.
Many people come to the OTO through the introduction they have had to
Thelema in the writings of Aleister Crowley. Sometimes it is an
exciting and radical new concept for us, though, often, we are just
responding to an inner recognition of a truth we already know.
Generally, OTO initiates are an introspective bunch with a high level
of inquiry, encouraged to explore a range of practices in order to find
a path that reverberates with their own sense of self.
Being born into an Hermetic tradition, we commonly utilise tools such
as Ceremonial Magick, Qabalah, the Tarot, Astrology and all manner of
what has previously been known as "occult" knowledge
The shared experience of the Order's initiation structure creates an
environment of collective wisdom and support for those who earnestly
seek the Light.
